20 kWh for your charge point
Nationwide

You share your charge point.

Every charged kWh becomes credit.

Your credit travels with you.

And you charge for free at others'.

Charging is more complicated than it should be

Public chargers are expensive, taken or far away. Meanwhile the wallbox next door sits idle most of the time.

  • Expensive: €0.50–0.89 per kWh at fast chargers
  • Taken or far away – especially on the road
  • Renters and street parkers often have no way to charge at all

VoltExchange connects both sides

If you have a wallbox, you share it and earn kWh credit. If you charge, you pay with credit instead of money. A money-free exchange, powered by the community.

Frequently asked questions

What does VoltExchange cost?

Nothing. VoltExchange is free – no subscription, no hidden fees, no profit on the electricity. Instead of money, you exchange kWh credit.

How does the kWh credit work?

Whoever shares their wallbox earns credit. Whoever charges spends credit. Once you publish your first charge point, you get 20 kWh of welcome credit.

Do I have to offer a charge point myself?

Yes – every member brings their own charge point. That can be a wallbox or a normal socket. That's the only way the network and the money-free exchange work: you share and charge at others' in return.

Is it safe?

Contact details are only visible to verified members, there are mutual ratings, and you decide who charges at your place.

Where can I charge?

Wherever members share their wallbox – nationwide, at home and on the road. The map shows you every charge point.
