Share, charge, pass it on.
VoltExchange works like a sharing circle for charging power: open up your wallbox, collect credit – and use it to charge for free at others'. Here's the whole flow in five steps.
- 01
Share a charge point
Add your wallbox to the map: power, connector type, address and when it's available. It takes two minutes and costs nothing – and you decide when and for whom you open up.
- 02
Receive a request & coordinate
Someone nearby sees your charge point and sends a request. Through the built-in chat you settle the details at your own pace – time, access, anything special. You accept when it fits.
- 03
Charge
At the agreed time your guest charges at your place. No key hassle, no third-party app: start and end are recorded in VoltExchange, and both sides confirm the kilowatt-hours charged.
- 04
Collect credit
Once both have confirmed, the energy charged moves to your account as kWh credit – transparently booked. No money, no invoice: you gave power and you get power back.
- 05
Charge for free elsewhere
On the road or on holiday, simply spend your credit at other members'. No subscription, no hidden fees, no tariff jungle – just a fair give and take.
Fair and transparent
Every kilowatt-hour charged is booked traceably, both sides confirm the amount, and mutual ratings build trust. Your credit is yours. Once you make your first charge point available to the community, you also receive a welcome credit.
